Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM)

FSM is a needle-less form of electro-acupuncture. Specifically it is a form of Inferential Electro-acupuncture although the F.D.A. licenses the machine as a form of TENS to treat pain. And it is good at treating many kinds of pain, even difficult cases. And all without needles! So it’s a great way to treat someone who is afraid of needles. This technique is based in research done in the 20’s and 30’s. In 1934, the A.M. A. decided that M.D.’s could only do drugs and surgery. Starting in 1995, Dr. McMakin, a chiropractor in Portland, started using it and developed the technique as it is today. Microcurrent in general has been proven by research to increase ATP(the energy source inside cells) by 500%! That’s just from keeping the current below 500 microamps when using electrode pads and below 20 microamps when using needles. Then there’s the effects of the frequencies. You put the frequency that’s supposed to be associated with the tissue type involved with the condition is put in one channel. The other channel is put to the frequency supposed to be associated with the condition that the tissue is bothered by. If you guess correctly for both frequencies, you will treat that tissue with that problem. At least that’s the theory. Of course the FDA doesn’t recognize any of this. So I can’t advertise or talk about treating any particular condition even though clinically it has proven very useful. Interesting enough, when you guess correctly, there’s an effect that tells you that you chose right. The tissues everywhere in the body will get soft or “smooshy”. And when it goes away, the treatment is done (for those frequencies). That is one thing I have yet to learn. It is not that noticeable. Generally, if it works it works but rarely are there no negative effects. There are some generally pleasant side effects due to the increase of endorphins and serotonin that relax you and can make you feel kind of high. But acupuncture can do that too. Just different mechanisms. Even the frequencies supposedly used to treat different emotions follows the same relationships between organs and emotions found in acupuncture. You can even treat pain in an acupuncture channel by treating the organ associated (ex. gall bladder for the GB channel). If it’s an excess you calm the sympathetics for the organ.  That clears the “blockage” in the channel and gets rid of the pain. To get good results with FSM, you need to know anatomy and physiology and think “What tissue is involved with this problem (such as a nerve or tendon) and what’s wrong with it (is it inflamed etc.). Another advantage is the results are noticeable right after the treatment (But sometimes the effects are not noticed until the next day. For example, when you treat cold symptoms like a stuffy head or a sore throat from a cold, you wont notice the effects until the next morning but you will feel much better. That has been my experience. I have treated myself for some back pain (irritated my R SI joint) so I treated it with the acute disk protocol and the first treatment took most of the pain away and it was completely gone after 3 treatments!

As far as I know I am one of the only acupuncturist in the Puget Sound area that has studied this methodology and has the equipment to do the treatments. And I have already discovered combined treatments (FSM and acupuncture) that work even better than either one alone such as my treatment for PTSD. I have found the also true in treatment of lymphedema. So I can say with confidence that FSM and acupuncture work very well together. But you cannot combine FSM and electro-acupuncture in the same part of the body. They will interfere with each other.

So far I have used several of their protocols to treat a number of conditions and so far the treatments do work when used for what they were designed for. And I have made  up protocols myself  and they usually have worked. And I won’t charge you if I use FSM on something I have yet to try. For example the protocol for Wound Healing is supposed to work on diabetic wounds, but I have not a chance to treat that even though I have used it successfully to treat other things. I used it with a few modifications to treat a bad case of Athletes Foot (was the worst case the dermatologist had ever seen{all over the bottom of both feet with redness and peeling skin} and his treatment wasn’t working). It took a few months but it did clear up. So I do have fair experience with FSM.

I have also developed a way to produce a way to make a remedy similar to homeopathy or Bach Flower Remedies I call FSM Treatment Remedies.

I have recently been told that there is a way to do FSM to do “Remote FSM Treatments“. You just need a photograph of the patient from head to toe and you must see the face. Anyway, that’s what I’ve been told. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? Bi I have experienced stranger things, so my mind is open to the possibility that I am right. As of 7/2024 I have done over 1,000 remote treatments and they usually work. I have even treated animals successfully. The only problem with remote treatments is that you will not get the effects of miicrocurrent since there is no current. I also have discovered that you can imprint the treatments onto holographic stickers and that works too. With imprinted protocols you don’t get microcurrent either but there are frequencies to do the same thing, just not as strongly. I use the stickers to extend the effects of an in-person treatment so the patient doesn’t have to come in as often. II have even discovered a way to make the imprints work stronger and faster. Click here to see the about 190 protocols that I have in software. I have recently figured out a treatment for Alzheimer’s that seems to be working quite well for both acute and chronic cases.
