Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
PMS is generally easily treated with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. It’s usually associated with some stress to the Chinese liver.  I have found that you must identify the particular emotions that are out of balance and treat that.  The Liver is associated with anger and irritability mostly.  Whereas crying easily is associated with the lungs. too much thinking or dwelling on things too much is associated with the stomach. Over care or concern for loved ones is as you might guess is associated with the heart. and so on.  Once you have identified the organs involved, you then must identify whether it is excess or deficient.  If it is mostly a deficient pattern, then you will probably need to take herbs to nourish the deficiency. Then you will know witch points to needle.
