rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis is characterized by hot, swollen, painful joints. It is caused by an overactive immune system that attacks that attacks its own tissues by mistake. Acupuncture at certain points can down-regulate the immune system. Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) can also do this. To treat the inflammation, I use a combination of acupuncture, electro-acupuncture and FSM. I use LI11 to clear heat which treats inflammation anywhere in the body. I then use my AIEAC treatment to treat the worst joints. Then I use FSM to treat inflammation in the tissues in and around the joint and to attempt to repair damage. Since this protocol is quite long, I do this remotely. Besides, I can not do FSM and AIEAC in the same area at the same time since they will interfere with each other.

This treatment will usually provide some immediate relief of pain. Additional relief will usually come two or three hours later as the swelling actually goes down. I usually treat twice a week to start and stretch out treatment as results dictate. This is not a cure but definitely helps with symptoms.
