Numbness

numbness

Numbness is usually due to either irritation of a nerve or a disruption of the normal processing of nerve impulses. Irritation of nerves usually results in inflammation which is easy to treat as long as the cause is not ongoing (like a bulging disk). If the site of irritation can be located, my anti-inflammation electro-acupuncture treatment is the fastest way to treat it. If the location can’t be located, or the patient doesn’t want a needle treatment, then FSM can be used to treat the whole path of the nerve. It just takes longer. If the numbness is a result of deranged processing of nerve signals, there are two ways it can be fixed. The easiest way is to use a Chinese “Roller wheel” to stimulate the sympathetic nerves just under the skin. That will increase the propagation of nerve signals to the brain thus reducing the numbness. I had this kind of numbness after my stroke and I used a roller wheel to get rid of it in one treatment. I can use FSM to treat the centers of the brain that process pain signals to correct it. It is usually used to treat chronic pain but can also be used to treat numbness too. I can also try Scalp Acupuncture and treat the sensory areas of the brain.
