Raynaud’s Disease

Raynaud’s Disease causes cold hands and feet. Basically it is due to a constriction of the peripheral arteries and veins. this is controlled by the autonomic nervous system. Acupuncture can dilate the blood vessels. The effect is temporary at first but with repeated treatments the vessels will stay dilated. The key is knowing what points to needle. In addition, relaxing the nervous system in general also causes the blood vessels to dilate. Acupuncture is good at relaxing the nervous system. Lastly there are frequencies in FSM to relax the smooth muscles of the arteries. I have had good luck treating this.
