Actually, the compression socks were not suitable for me, according to my doctor. I wore one pair to work one day and at lunchtime, I was in so much pain that I had to take them off; both my ankles had 1/4 in deep grooves in them and the stuff that makes them stay up, the silicone like material at the tops, had given me a rash that took 2 weeks to completely heal. I never tried on the second pair, because my doctor told me not to. He also said they were not fitted to my ankles properly. So they were a waste of $235. My leg/feet swelling was successfully cured with six visits of acupuncture at Valley Acupuncture Clinic in Kent.
